No commentsReporting from Haiti
In January, I spent a week reporting from Haiti on the effects of the devastating earthquake that happened January 12. I was embedded for much of the week with the 22nd Marine Expeditionary Unit stationed on board the USS Bataan, which sailed to Haiti and began relief work within days of the tragedy. Here is a list of links to the stories I produced for CBN:

Happy New Year, Folks! I’d like to ask a BIG favor of you all. I entered a video in a competition on the Four Hour Workweek Blog. It describes some of the steps we’ve taken in the last few years to build a stable, semi-passive income and break free from the corporate grind. Whatever, anyway, if we WIN the competition (we’re in the finals) I’ll get to take my oldest son with me on an upcoming trip to Malta – an island in the Mediterranean. If you don’t mind, please take a second and visit this link and vote for my video. Mason and I would really appreciate it!
While you are at it – go buy a copy of Tim Ferriss’s book, “The Four Hour Workweek.” You’ll thank me after you read it.
Thanks, and may 2010 be your best year ever! Chuck
No commentsOperation Just Cause – Panama
Twenty years ago I was in Panama during Operation Just Cause. The mission: Take down a corrupt dictator and restore democracy. Two decades later, it seems like a lifetime ago. Here’s my story about the trip we took returning to Panama with a few other old Rangers.
No commentsSpecial Forces in Afghanistan
During my month-long trip to Afghanistan in September, I was privileged to spend some time with US Special operations forces in Herat province. They’re doing very good work out there, and really taking the fight to the enemy alongside Afghan commandos, whom our forces are training. This is a piece from one mission we accompanied the operators on that took us to the Iranian border.
No commentsMan Up at Evergreen Baptist Church, Tulsa
The subject I’ve been speaking on a lot lately has to do with a bible study I put together for my sons. After realizing that my (somewhat flawed) example of Godly manhood probably wouldn’t suffice to give my boys the perfect standard of Manhood, I started on a two-year journey to put together a comprehensive course on what a real man looks like. (hint..the guy above isn’t it.)
I’m still developing this project, but you can listen to a speech I gave on the subject recently here.
