I recently recieved this email from someone who picked up “A More Elite Soldier.” This is the kind of note every author lives for. This is what it’s all about!

After seeing recent action in the Mid- East, my discharge and a near divorce with my wife I began searching for my new identity (non-military life) and purpose. Unemployed, lost, dealing with my “emotional and psychological struggle” from the war,and the “friends” that were there to drink beer with every weekend never returned my calls- I was hurting…bad. After all, I had left their “brotherhood” and chose to leave my elite unit. All my needs were there in the military- action, excitement, friends (i thought, there were 1 or 2 I still consider my brothers), housing…everything.

Hey Yo! This is Dean. Chuck’s part-time web guy and full-time good friend. And I know he’s busy so I’m going to take the liberty of welcoming all of you wonderful folks who are visiting via the 700 Club.

Oh, for those who don’t have a clue what I’m talking about. I suggest you set your VCRs to ‘stunning‘ as Chuck will be appearing on the 700 Club tomorrow morning, Friday August 8.

Aside from talking about his books (which you can buy at a discount here), A More Elite Soldier” and Stories from a Soldier’s Heart, Chuck has also been hired as the 700 Club’s “Adventure Correspondent” to do different stories each month, that will feature positive male role models such as smoke jumpers (people who jump out of planes and put out forest fires). The first of these segements, entitled “Where There’s Smoke, There’s Fire” will air tomorrow after the interview.

For your viewing convenience, here is a link to the 700 Club’s broadcast schedule so you can find out when your local TV or Cable station will beam Chuck’s smiling face across the Nation (that would be 9am on Channel 20 here in the D.C area).
