Lost At Sea
When Ben Pollock and Frank Doolin decided to take their oldest boys out on an all-day fishing excursion in the Gulf of Mexico, they were hoping for some good father-son adventure. But when their boat sank 25 miles from shore, they got a bit more adventure than they bargained for.
Click here to see a low-res version of Chuck’s latest CBN adventure piece, detailing the story of how these five brave men survived fourteen hours adrift in the frigid ocean, and how their faith in God gave them the peace to persevere.

This email came recently from Mike Michelsen, after reading BulletProof.
I wrote to you shortly after I read your first book, A More Elite Soldier. I believe I heard about your work from an article I read in New Man. I have written for the same publication.
When I received your e-mail about the upcoming publication of your new book, Bullet Proof, I was excited, especially after I read the sample on your website. Things like self-confidence and self-control are things I constantly struggle with.
About nine years ago I was involved in a terrible automobile accident. I, along with six others, were hit on a freeway by a semi pulling a trailer. Surprisingly, the driver of the semi was the only one who died in the accident, although there were several others injured. After I got out of my car (somehow) I stood in that roadway and watched the driver of the semi burn to death. He struggled, screamed and begged anyone to help him. I was so scared I didn’t move. All I did was shake.
I have not driven on a freeway since that day. Further, I am constantly haunted by flashbacks and nightmares. Needless to say, I could use a healthy dose of self-confidence. As a writer and a voracious reader, I have read practically everything I could find, anything that would help me to give me a plan–anything–that would get me back to “normal.” When I read the sample chapter on your website, I knew that was for me.
Your book was right on target. You are absolutely right! I am immortal until God is done with me–regardless of what I do. I need to change the focus of my life, from focusing on myself and my situation, to the Maker.
May God richly bless you and your ministry!
Mike Michelsen

I found some pictures lately that were taken in 1990 during the training mission that I describe in the prologue of BulletProof. That gave me the idea of posting pictures from some of the stories here.

Faith on the Line
Chuck’s latest story in Breakaway is about a Christian he met in Jordan – one who left the Muslim faith as a teen even though it meant giving up everything…or so he thought. Click here to read how following God has given “Jack” more than he ever imagined.
