Reporting from Haiti
In January, I spent a week reporting from Haiti on the effects of the devastating earthquake that happened January 12. I was embedded for much of the week with the 22nd Marine Expeditionary Unit stationed on board the USS Bataan, which sailed to Haiti and began relief work within days of the tragedy.
